Why Should You Get Another Battery?

Stock airsoft batteries do not bring out your AEG's max performance. For one, most Ni-Mh batteries don't last long. If you wan't to play longer, you will need a spare battery, preferably with higher MAH (MAH is a major factor in how many shots your AEG gets). Low voltage batteries decrease your ROF (Rate Of Fire). Upgrading to an 9.6v (or in some cases 8.4v) battery can improve your ROF greatly.

Batteries We Carry

We carry both Lithium-ion polymer (Lipo) batteries and Ni-Mh airsoft batteries. Ni-cad batteries use to be popular for airsoft guns as well, but we do not carry them because Ni-Mh and Lipo batteries are superior to Ni-Cads.

We have 8.4v and 9.6v Ni-Mh batteries; in Lipo batteries we sell 7.4v and 11.1v with 12c and 20c.

Battery Manufacturers:

Firefox, Flame (Flame is a division of Firefox), and Gens ACe are the three current battery manufacturers we sell. Our recommended manufacturer is Gens ACE because of its high quality and very reasonable price. Firefox has a good reputation in the airsoft industry for making high quality, durable Lipo and Ni-mh batteries.

Should I Get a Lipo?

Before you get a lipo, make sure your gearbox is Lipo ready with high quality internal parts in your gearbox. A lipo battery used with your standard JG, Dboy, Cyma, or other similar manufacture's gun will destroy your gearbox. We are currently working on a guide to help you get your AEG lipo ready.

Deans Style Connectors

Deans connectivity are higher than Tamiya connectors. Because of this, Deans connectors can increase your ROF. There have been tests done that show an increase of 2 shots per second with Ni-Mh mini batteries.
