The Airsoft MP5K AEG
Well manufactures this MP5K out of a solid ABS polymer. It uses metal gearbox with metal bushings (metal bushings will last a lot longer the standard plastic bushings most AEGs come with). The MP5K is excellent for CQB play because of its compactness. Instead of a shoulder stock, it has an end cap. The verticle foregrip adds to the stability. If you want to use a sling with this airsoft, your in luck because it already comes with a metal sling mount.
With the adjustable hop-up, your will always be able to adjust your MP5k gun to just where you want it.
Real Steal MP5k
The MP5k is a 9mm firearm introduced by Heckler and Kock in 1976 as shorter version of their MP5A2. The K in MP5K stands for the German word for short. As you might have guessed, the MP5K is primarily for CQB (Close Quarters Combat).
Physical Differences Between An MP5 And MP5K

As you can see, the MP5k gun doesn't have a stock, instead it just has an end cap with a sling loop. THe bolt was lighter because it and the receiver were shortened. This resulted in much higher rate of fire over the MP5. H&K also shortened the cocking handle and barrel. For stabliity, they replaced the handguard with a short foregrip.
If you are planning on using a silencer with your MP5k (which unless you are a hit man, you most likely arn't), you are out of luck. Because of the shortened, the MP5K can't hold muzzle devices. However, the MP5 PDW, which is another shorter version of the MP5, can hold a silencer (just in case you were wondering).
SP89: The Civilians MP5K
The H&K's SP89 firearm is the civilian version of the MP5k. SP89 shoots semi-automatic and has a foregrip with a muzzle guard to replace the verticle grip.
Unfortunatly, cinton banned th SP89 in 1993 in a Clinton exectutive order. You know can only get it as a "preban" collector's item. It orginally sold for $900, but now will run you around $3200.
MP5K-PDW
The PDW in MP5K-PDW stands for Personal Defense Weapon. It retains the compactness of the MP5K; however, it has a side-folding stock and some other features.
How To Put In The Battery In The MP5k Airsoft Gun
First remove the two body pins near the rear. You can accomplish this by pushing through to the other end the pins with the retaining loops. Once the pins are out, remove the rear sling cover and mount, and then take off the front sling cover and mount. Now you can slide the foregrip off. Take the battery with the connector first, and slide it from the back to the front as you snake the AEGs wires by the cocking handle and into the part the foregrip covers up. Now you can connect the battery to your MP5K AEG. Now slide the foregrip on again (do this carefullly and avoid the battery wires). Now put back on the rear sling mount and body pins. This may be a little hard to understand, but once you take your Airsoft MP5K apart a few times, you will get used to it.
