Flat High Torque Gears

A high torque gear set has a different gear ratio, which allows your FPS to go up, but it decreases your ROF. You should only consider high torque gears if you want use a M130 spring or stronger.

Helical High Torque Gears

Helical gears teeth are cut at an angle so that there is more than one tooth in contact with the piston at a time. This greatly reduces the stress on the gears and motor. With a helical gear set you can use much stronger upgrade springs.

High Speed Gear Sets:

High speed gears have a gear ratio that will increase ROF and decrease FPS. A high speed gear set will put more stress on the motor, and they are more likely to get stripped. The more you improve the ROF of your AEG, the chances of your gears stripping increases.
